Google is all set to unveil their Smart speakers finally in India. Yes, you read it right, Google is gearing up to launch the Google Home and Google Home Mini in India this month. Google will be launching Google Home and Google Home Mini, as per NDTV Gadgets.

Today, a tweet came out from Google India’s official channel saying “Get ready to #MakeGoogleDoIt, at home too. Coming soon” with images of Google Home and Home Mini. The arrival of Google Home and Mini means that now, Amazon will have a competition for Amazon Echo, Echo Dot, and Echo Plus in India. Google Home was announced back in 2016 along with first gen Pixel smartphones and the Home Mini was announced alongside Pixel 2 last October.

Google Home

Google Home is a smart speaker powered by Google Assistant, by speaking to Home you can enjoy music and entertainment, manage everyday tasks and also ask Google your queries. It will come with unmatched voice recognition. This smart product will come with 2 mics at the top and a bottom and WiFi-enabled speaker, also it will have 4 LED lights at the top. You can send music to Home via Android/iOS through Google cast. It also supports Multi-room playback. Wi-Fi speaker comes with rich bass, clear highs and should be a thrill to use. Some of the core features here include the ability to answer your questions using Google Search, track weather, and other information, organize your itinerary, and basically all the things you’d expect from Google Assistant on your phone.

Google Home Mini

Google Home Mini, Max and Google Clips

As the name suggests this is a Mini variant of the original Google Home and comes in a pretty small and compact size compared to the Google Home. The Google Home Mini is powered by Google Assistant, it can give answers to your questions, plan for an event, play music, control your smart home devices like a light. Also, it comes with Bluetooth support, as we have seen on the Google Home’s latest update. It can Play music by wither casting from music apps like Play music, Spotify, Pandora and others or can play via Bluetooth.

As far as the pricing is concerned, there no words from any source. The Google Home is priced at $129(INR 8,385) and Home Mini is priced at $49(INR 3,185) in the US. So, it should with around INR 10,000 for the Home and around INR 5,000 for Mini in India.
