The Samsung’s W2018 flip phone is a delight, which takes you back to Moto Razr days.
A couple of months back, a device SM- G9298 was certified by Tenaa in China. Because of MMDDJ, the flip phone started to storm the internet now. It comes to us as no surprise because Samsung unveils the high end, clamshell flip phone every year during this time. Probably, this November or sometime in 2018, we will see the W2018 flip phone. Weirdly enough, this model might seem like an alien to a lot of us since it releases in China solely.
SlashLeaks was the first to get hands-on images of the W2018 and recently, @MMDDJ, a Chinese phone tipster, posted on Twitter. Here is sneak peek below of the Samsung W2018 Flip phone.

The W2018 is a predecessor of W2017 and it is rumoured that this flip phone is a flagship model on papers. The flip phone will sport a 4.2-inch dual display on a Full HD screen. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chip, coupled with 6 gigabytes of RAM and 64 GB of onboard storage.
To the optics, the camera will feature a 12 megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel camera for shooters. It will be backed by 2,300 mAh of battery and is expected to run on Android Nougat v.7.0 out of the box. Unfortunately, Samsung’s W series flip phones have been solely limited to China because there is a lack of demand for flip phones in other markets, according to Samsung. However, it is expensive and will retail at $2,000 (approximately INR 1, 28, 00), which is costlier than the Apple iPhone X.
