Nokia 5 made its debut in February this year at Mobile World Congress(MWC) and went on sale in India in August for INR 12,499 with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. Now, Nokia has announced a new variant of Nokia 5 that comes with 3GB LPPDDR 3 RAM and with the same 16GB storage option. The new variant is priced at INR 13,499 and will be exclusively available for a week on Flipkart starting tomorrow followed by availability in select retail outlets in the country from November 14 onwards. It comes in Matte Black and Tempered Blue color options. Coming to the specifications, Nokia 5 flaunts a 5.2-inch HD display protected by Gorilla Glass. The Phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC and Adreno 505 GPU. It comes with 3GB LPDDR 3 RAM and 16GB storage with MicroSD card support up to 128GB. It is packed with a 3000mAh battery. In the camera department, the Nokia 5 comes with a 13MP PDAF, 1.12um, f/2.0 aperture, dual tone flash and an 8MP front-facing camera with Auto Focus, 1.12um, f/2.0 aperture. The smartphone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and comes with close to the stock Android experience, it will be getting Android 8.0 Oreo by the end of 2017. The fingerprint scanner is located at the front of the device. Other features of the device include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, BT 4.1, GPS/AGPS+GLONASS+BDS, FM/RDS, NFC for sharing, Micro USB (USB 2.0), OTG, 3.5mm audio jack.
