Sony has launched a new premium soundbar in India called HT-ST5000 for the price of INR 1,15,990. The soundbar comes with 7.1.2 channel Dolby Atmos support, Wireless Subwoofer, S-Force Pro Front Surround Sound and S-master HX – Hi-Res Audio Amplifier. It is available at all Sony Centers and major electronic stores across India.
The HT- ST5000 combines great surround sound with a unique design. It delivers superior audio quality with S-Force PRO Front Surround technology while acting as a wireless speaker for music listening. The Dolby Atmos-enabled speakers deliver three-axis surround sound, accurately positioning sound within the environment so that the 7.1.2 speaker channels completely envelop sound. Optimized for Dolby Atmos, two in-built up-firing speakers bounce sound off the ceiling to reproduce overhead sound. It ensures the real cinema audio like experience at home with great sound. The S-Force PRO Front Surround with wavefront technology emulates a natural, three-dimensional sound field. All this is possible from a single soundbar and subwoofer. Sound quality is enhanced with coaxial magnetic fluid speaker and a 180mm Sigma Subwoofer unit that delivers balanced sound and a clearer bass. The S-master HX – Hi-Res Audio Amplifier technology reduces distortion for precise results with high-frequency ranges which are above 40kHz. It ensures the delivery of a balanced and wide frequency audio response.
The connectivity options on the soundbar include one-touch wireless listening with Bluetooth & NFC. With Bluetooth, one can also enjoy music playback streamed wirelessly from the smartphone. One-touch connection via NFC technology further removes the need for complex set-up sequences. Also, the soundbar comes with built-in Chromecast. Further, the users can also browse music list of USB-drive from faraway place easily through the Music Center. The wireless subwoofer that comes with soundbar can be placed anywhere, to make the most of the living space. Other options include 3x HDCP 2.2-compatible HDMI inputs, 1x HDMI ARC output, optical SPDIF, analog AUX, and a USB connection.
