LG V30

LG has announced its second flagship smartphone of the year after the launch of LG G6, the LG V30 was announced at the ongoing IFA 2017 in Berlin, Germany. The LG V30 comes with top of the line specs and is more powerful than its predecessors.

The LG V30 packs a 6-inch QHD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 and is coupled with Adreno 540 GPU. The device comes with a 4GB RAM and it comes with either 64GB or 128Gb UFS 2.0 storage options, with MicroSD card support up to 2TB. It runs on Android Nougat 7.1.1 with a proprietary LG layer of skin called LG UX 6.0+. The fingerprint scanner is placed at the rear of the device. It comes with 3,300mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, Wireless charging support.LG V30

The main feature of the V series smartphones from LG is the camera, at the rear LG V30 comes with a dual camera set up, one with 16MP sensor and the other with 13MP wide-angle setup. The main sensor comes with f/1.6 aperture, 71-degree wide-angle lens, dual-tone LED flash, OIS, EIS, PDAF and 13MP secondary sensor with f/1.9 aperture, 120-degree wide-angle lens. There is a 5MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture, 90-degree wide-angle lens. Also, LG has removed the secondary display that was found for the LG V20 and has made a software version of that called Floating Bar. Rest of the specifications are listed below.

The LG V30 will roll out in South Korea starting September 21 and later in North America, Asia, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. It comes in Aurora Black, Cloud Silver, Moroccan Blue and Lavender Violet colors. The price of the device is still unknown.
