Gionee’s selfie-centric smartphone, Gionee A1 which was announced back in March in India has just received a price cut of INR 3,000. The device was launched for INR 19,999 and is now available for INR 16,999 in Grey, Black, and Gold color options.

Also, the company said that customers who would activate A1 on Jio network for the 1st time with a recharge of INR 309 or above will be entitled to additional 60 GB Jio 4G data. Each customer will get this additional data benefit on 6 recharges of INR 309 or above. Additionally, Gionee has associated with Paytm which allows customers to get 2 Paytm cash back Vouchers worth INR 250. Each voucher will ensure INR 250 cash back into the Customer Paytm wallet on a minimum purchase of INR 350 from Paytm Mall.Gionee A1The Gionee A1 comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display and is powered by Helio P10 SoC with 4GB RAM, 64GB onboard storage, and a 4010mAh battery. There is a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens, and flash and 16MP front facing camera with LED flash. It is coming with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. It comes with a Fingerprint scanner at the rear.

In March, the Gionee A1 had received an update that Enhanced User Experience across Selfies, Music, and Videos and in April the company had got orders worth 150Cr for Gionee A1.
