Micromax has launched a new budget smartphone in India, Micromax Selfie 2. This smartphone is the company's latest selfie-focused phone in India. It comes with an 8MP front camera along with a LED flash, it runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and packs a decent 3000mAh battery. It is priced at INR 9,999 and is available in stores from August 1st in black variant.
The device is equipped with a 5.5-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display, it is powered by a Quad-core MediaTek MT6737 64-bit SoC which is clocked at 1.3Ghz and it is coupled with Mali T720 GPU. It comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage along with microSD card support up to 32GB.
In the camera department, it has a 13-megapixel rear camera with flash, f/2.0 aperture, Sony IMX135 sensor, and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with flash for capturing better selfies in low-lighting conditions. Other features include a rear fingerprint scanner, Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS. The device also comes with a 100-day replacement warranty (as part of the one year warranty) on hardware. Truecaller dialler integration in the device will help users get a seamless caller ID, spam detection, dialing and messaging experience.
