Honor has announced their new flagship smartphone in India, the Honor 8 Pro which is the successor to the last year’s Honor 8. The Honor 8 Pro comes with a dual rear camera(12MP+12MP) and also packs a big 4000mAh battery. The smartphone will be exclusively available on Amazon from 10th of July, 6 PM for the price of INR 29,999.
Coming to the specs of the device it sports a Quad-HD display which is a worthy improvement over its predecessor. It is powered by in-house Kirin 960 SoC which is clocked at 2.4Ghz. The device comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB of onboard storage with expandable storage up to 128GB. The device runs on Huawei’s home brewed OS EMUI 5.1 on top of Android 7.0 Nougat.
The USP of the device is its dual camera at the rear which houses two 12MP sensors, one with monochrome and other with a colour sensor to capture more details, it comes with an aperture of f/2.2, dual-tone LED flash and also supports 4K recording. On the front, it houses an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls. Other features of the device include USB Type-C port, Hybrid Dual SIM, 4G LTE, VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), BT 4.2, GPS and NFC. The fingerprint scanner is placed at the front of the device.

As you can see by the specs, this phone will be a serious competitor for the recently launched OnePlus 5 which is price a bit higher.
