Acer Swift 3 and Swift 1

Acer has announced 2 news Swift series of laptops, Swift 3 and Swift 1. Both machines run on Windows 10 and come with support for Windows Hello and fingerprint scanner. Acer promises up to 10 hours of battery life on these laptops. The Swift 1 comes in 13.3-inch Full HD IPS display and Swift 3 comes in 14-inch or 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display.Acer Swift 3 and Swift 1 Acer Swift 1

It is powered by Intel Pentium or Celeron processor, comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB SSD options with SD card support. It runs on Windows 10 and promises up to 10 hours of battery life. It comes with High dynamic range(HDR) webcam at the front, connectivity options include, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0 and 3.0 Type-A ports, USB 3.1 Type-C, HDMI.  It is 14.95mm thick and weighs just 1.3 kg and comes with all-metal chassis.

It is powered by 7th Generation Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 processors and comes with Intel HD or NVIDIA GeForce graphics. Swift 3 comes with 4GB/8GB RAM and 512GB/1TB SSD options with SD card support. It runs on Windows 10 and promises up to 10 hours of battery life. This also comes with High dynamic range(HDR) webcam at the front, connectivity options include, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0 and 3.0 Type-A ports, USB 3.1 Type-C, HDMI. Price and Availablity

  • The Swift 3 series will be available in North America in June with prices starting at $599; in EMEA in June with prices starting at €649; and in China in April starting at ¥3,999.
  • The Swift 1 series will be available in North America in June with prices starting at $329; in EMEA in June with prices starting at €399; and in China in April starting at ¥3,499.
