Samsung galaxy s8 and s8 plus

Samsung has announced their 2 new flagship smartphones at an event in New York today, the Galaxy S8 and S8+ were the 2 new smartphones announced today. The Galaxy S8 comes with a 5.8-inch display and S8+ with a 6.2-inch display. Both the smartphones come with QHD+ display with the resolution of 2960*1440 and 18.5:9 aspect ratio. Both the smartphones are having bezel-less super AMOLED panel up front.

The specs of the devices are almost similar except the display, the devices are powered with Snapdragon 835 Processor and are coupled with Adreno 540 GPU or Exynos 8895 depending on the region. Both devices come with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage with MicroSD card support up to 256GB. They come with a 12MP rear camera with dual pixel sensor with an aperture of f/1.7 and support for OIS. The Galaxy S8 and S8+ come with a 8MP front camera with f/1.7 aperture. Samsung galaxy s8 and s8 plusTo power all the internals the galaxy S8 comes ith 3000mAh battery and S8+ with 3500mAh battery, both smartphones comes with Quick Charge 4.0 and Wireless charging technology. The devices are dust and water resistant (IP68 rated). They are running on Android Nougat 7.0. Other features of the devices include Dual band wifi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, Samsung Pay, USB type-c port, 3.5mm audio jack, face recognition, Fingerprint scanner at the rear.

Samsung also introduced their own virtual and voice assistant, Bixby. The virtual assistant is making its debut on S8 and S8+, Bixby can recognize images in the camera app, photo gallery, and web photos when using the Samsung browser. It will also show up contextual information like location based results as we have seen on Google Assistant. And, the smartphones comes with a pair of earphones in the box. And finally, they come in 5 different color options black, orchid gray, silver, blue, and maple gold.
