Huawei Watch 2 launched at MWC

Huawei has announced the second generation of its smartwatch powered by AndroidWear 2.0 at the ongoing MWC 2017 in Barcelona. Huawei watch 2 inherits the classic design of the original Huawei watch.

The Huawei Watch 2 features a ‘sportier’ look with a rubberised band, it comes with 1.2-inches (390×390) AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor, 768MB of RAM and 4GB internal storage.. Huawei watch 2 also comes in a 4G varaint for independent connectivity, allowing users to send messages or make calls independent of a mobile phone.Huawei Watch 2 launched at MWC It comes with a built-in GPS, users can leave their mobile phone at home and go running, cycling while staying connected. Other connectivity options include dual 4G, GPS, Wi-Fi, BT, and NFC. Also, it comes in an eSIM version in specific countries. The built-in smart sensors collect comprehensive data on user activity, including distance, speed, steps, heart rate, heart rate range, calories, gait, route and more. To power all the internals it is packed with a 420mAh battery with Fast charging capability.

Prices for the Huawei Watch 2 start from € 329 and will be available in Spain, France, Portugal, Italy, Germany, China from the month of March. Indian launch is expected in the month of April.
