Huawei has kickstarted its MWC campaign with the announcement of two new flagship smartphones at the event toda. The flagships announced today are Huawei P10 and P10 Plus which are the successor to last year’s Huawei P9 and P9 Plus. Both the new P10 and P10 Plus house Dual-Rear camera setup co-engineered with Leica.
The P10 is gets a Full HD display along with a 2.5D curved glass and Gorilla Glass protection at the front. It is powered by Huawei’s in-house Octa-core processor, Kirin 960 coupled with Mail T71 Octa-core GPU, it comes in a 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM variant with sd card support up to 256GB. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with its own EMUI 5.1 skin out of the box. It features Fingerprint sensor at the front for security. It is packed with 3200mAh battery with Quick Charge support. On the other hand, P10 Plus comes with a larger 5.5-inch AMOLED display with 2K(QHD) resolution, it comes in 2 variants, 4+64GB and 6+128GB along with sd card support up to 256GB. It comes with a larger 3750mAh battery with Quick Charge support.
The main highlight of these smartphones are the camera, they come with 20-megapixel (Monochrome) + 12-megapixel(RGB) sensor at the rear with f/2.0 aperture, dual-tone LED flash, Laser AF, OIS. On the front, it has an 8-megapixel shooter with f/1.9 aperture. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C.
