Gionee has kick-started their MWC 2017 campaign with the announcement of 2 new selfie-centric smartphones, the Gionee A1 and A1. The A-series will be Gionee’s core product line for the first half of 2017 and continue to focus on selfie performance. The A1 is equipped with a 16MP front camera and A1 Plus comes with a 20MP front camera, both the smartphones come with Flash at the front as well for better selfies. Both of them are equipped with a Fingerprint scanner on the front.
Gionee A1 flaunts a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display, and is powered by Helio P10 SoC with 4GB RAM, 64GB onboard storage and a 4010mAh battery. There is a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens, and flash and 16MP front facing camera with LED flash. Both the smartphones will get Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
On the other hand, the Gionee A1 Plus comes with a bigger 6-inch Full HD in-cell display, it is powered by Helio P25 SoC with 4GB RAM, 64GB onboard storage, and a massive 4550mAh battery. There is a 13MP +5MP dual rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens, and flash and 20MP front camera with LED flash.

The A1 and A1 Plus will be available for € 349(INR 24,630) and € 499(INR 35,210) respectively starting March 2017 and April 2017 in Gray, Black and Gold colour options.
