Last week I was in Shenzhen, China for Huawei’s online brand Honor smartphone’s 3rd anniversary where they also announced their latest flagship smartphone called Magic. You can read more about the magical device here – Honor Magic with 12 MP dual rear camera, 4GB RAM launched in china
It was my 3rd visit with Honor for their anniversary celebrations. As each time it was a gala launch event with a lot of tech, music and fun. But what was special this time apart from the celebrations and launches was my visit to the Honor Cafe.
When I read about our visit to the Honor Cafe in the itinerary, I wasn’t very sure what Honor Cafe would be like. Honestly, I presumed it to be a small corner in a coffee shop. But to my surprise, it turned out to be the best place to hang out in Shenzen. No kidding! I felt that all the time I spent at Starbucks and Pacific Coffee were such a waste.
Maybe, I’m saying this as I’m a geek and there is nothing geeky about Starbucks, Costa Coffee, Pacific Coffee or any other cafe for that matter. But it’s not just about being geeky; Honor Cafe is a complete package of perfect ambience, unique interiors, a showcase of Honor products and an excellent co-working place.
Have a look at the images and you might agree with me –
Honor Cafe is spirited for the millennials who live by the brand’s motto, “For the brave”! At the Honor Cafe, one can spend some time in the reading room, set up base at the c0-working space, check out latest products from the Honor stable, engage with the brand through various social media kiosks and of course have a great cuppa.
I so wish we had the Honor Cafe in India (read New Delhi), it really is a dream place to work from or hang out with friends and family. But until that happens, Honor Cafe remains to be my one of the favourite places in Shenzen. So next time you are in Shenzen, make it a point to visit the Honor Cafe.
