Last week Samsung announced it’s Note series in flagship by skipping a number in the lineup and jumping to number 7, thus naming it Samsung Galaxy Note 7. As we posted earlier Samsung has officially unveiled the Note 7 in India.
Note 7 comes with 5.7″ QHD (2560*1440 pixel) Super AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered by Octa-core Exynos 8890 processor. In storage department it comes with 64GB of Flash memory, which is further expandable upto 256GB via MicroSD card. It comes with 4GB of RAM. Also the device is IP68 rated, which means it can withstand maximum level of dust and can go up to 1 meter in water for 30 mins.
The device comes with Iris Scanner, so that it can recognize user’s eye and unlock the smartphone. User still has an option of using the fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button to unlock the device. The device runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with TouchWiz overlay on top of it. Note 7 comes with a even more sensitive and accurate S Pen to do work more efficiently. This year there is no Edge variant of the device as the Note 7 comes with curved screen on both sides.
The rear camera is a dual pixel 12 megapixel sensor with OIS, f/1.7 aperture and dual tone LED flash just like on the acclaimed S7 and S7 Edge. For the selfie lovers, there is a 5 megapixel front camera. Note 7 comes with a 3500mAh battery with fast charge feature, also this is the first device from Samsung to have a USB Type C connector.
