In our last post about the Dew Arena, we talked about how the gaming community in India has evolved and how Mountain Dew is playing an instrumental role in this movement with organising the largest online gaming championship in India.
Here’s some more big news from the brand – Mountain Dew decided to take the game to the next level and has taken to the streets, scouring for gaming lovers in an on-ground activation of the Dew Arena, as well.
The Mountain Dew Game Fuel – Dew Arena Activation will be happening across 5 States: Punjab, Haryana, Delhi NCR, Rajasthan and UP. These online gaming trucks will be visiting popular markets, colleges, and the local haunts in search of gamers on the move. Commencing from GCM College in Chandigarh and SKIT College, Jaipur, from the 12th of August, these trucks will be visiting 60 locations across the 5 states.

Getting back to the online Championship, here’s an update on how the Dew Arena that started on the 15th of July is engaging gamers across the country.
Winners of Qualifier #1 are:

Currently, all 3 games are in their 3rd Qualifier round. CS:GO is live with 255 teams (5 on 5), and DOTA 2 with 256 teams (5 on 5) battling it out. FIFA is seeing 50 players tackling each other online one on one to see who emerges victorious.
