Duo, one of the most awaited apps from Google in recent times was announced last week. Now, the company has announced that Duo has crossed 5 million downloads on Android platform.
At Google I/O this year the company announced two new apps for communication. One was called as DUO, a video chatting app and the other was ALLO, which is a messaging app with built-in assistant to it.
Duo is 1-to-1 video calling app available for Android and iOS. Duo takes the complexity out of video calling, so that you can be together in the moment wherever you are. It has a simple interface to start with and no separate account is required, so you can sign up in just a few steps.
All calls are End To End Encrypted in Duo. The feature Knock-Knock sets this apart from competition. Knock-Knock, gives preview of the person who’s calling even before you pick the call. So that you can see who’s calling and what they are doing.
Give your friends a wave with Duo! Google has already rolled out Duo for Android and iOS. In case you missed it, go ahead and download it. If you are a user of Duo, the do let us know your experience in the comments section below.
