Micromax has launched their latest offering to Indian smartphone market with its Canvas Spark 2 Plus smartphone, which is successor to last year’s Spark 2. Canvas Spark 2 Plus is priced at Rs. 3,999 and will be available starting this Friday (22nd Apr) exclusively via Snapdeal.

Coming to the specs of Canvas Spark 2 Plus, it is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor, features a 5″ FWVGA (480×854 pixels) display. It comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. In the camera department, it gets a 5MP rear camera and 2MP front camera. The device is packed with a 2000mAh battery.

The device runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0, which makes this phone company’s first smartphone to come with Android 6.0 out of the box.  The device will support more than 10 regional languages. It’s a Dual sim 3G phone with dedicated MicroSD card slot supporting upto 32GB. The Micromax Canvas Spark 2 Plus comes in Metallic Grey, Copper Gold and Champagne Gold colors.

Commenting on the launch, Shubhajit Sen, Chief Marketing Officer, Micromax Informatics, said”A large number of consumers are still using feature phones or a second hand phones, which provide immense scope and potential for them to upgrade to affordable smartphones.
