Nissan has signed an eight-year deal with the International Cricket Council (ICC) that runs through 2023. The deal includes the ICC Cricket World Cup, ICC Champions Trophy and ICC World Twenty20, as well as Under 19 and Women’s Cricket and qualifying events for the next 8 years. This may seem like a big deal for cricket lover specially in the Indian sub-continent but the global car maker has been involved in sports through UEFA Champions League, Rio 2016 Olympic Games, also their brand ambassador for the GT-R is the world’s fastest man – Usain Bolt.

Now coming to the most exciting part of this deal, The Fan Quotient! So what does this partnership mean for a fan like me?

Well they say seeing is believing, hence I’d urge all of you to watch the video below and feel the adrenaline rush:

Now wasn’t that innovative and exciting just like what Nissan stands for – Innovation that Excites! I mean who wouldn’t be surprised to play with a legend from the Indian Cricket Team? How often does your morning walk/jog turns into an encounter with a real life star. The exhilaration to play with Irfan was beyond age groups and gender.

These are really the #MomentsThatCount and it’s great to see Nissan already doing so much for fans. Frankly, I can’t wait to be a part of the fan engagement and activities Nissan will be doing throughout. If you too would like to be a part of it then you can follow on them Twitter & Facebook and keep an eye on the hashtag #MomentsThatCount.

Psst: If you are lucky, Nissan fans get the first opportunity to get close to the trophy, even before its lifted by the winning captain on 3 April in Mumbai.
