Acer today announced the launch of the two news devices in the Liquid series of smartphones: Z530 and Z630s, which will be sold online exclusively through Flipkart. Both the devices are dual-sim and 4G enabled with a host of services and features which take the smartphone experience to the next level. Through these affordable devices, Acer aims to capture the market share of devices priced under 10K.
The stylish new devices will be running on Android 5.1 with Acer’s homegrown UI Acer Liquid. The Acer Liquid UI come with features like Acer Float Caller and Left Page providing users of the Z530 and Z630s with easy to use, personalized smartphone experience. Users will also be able to experience the astonishing stereo sound and spacious WIDE effect thanks to DTS Studio Sound on both the devices. With DTS Studio Sound, user get professional cinema experience on their phone and also enjoy the bigger sound field, higher vocal clarity and more natural details.
Acer Liquid Z530 is being positioned as a ‘perfect selfie smartphone’ as the device comes with a 8-megapixel front and rear cameras. The front-camera comes with an 84-degree wide-angle lens.
The Z530 features a 5-inch (720×1280 pixels) IPS OGS display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6735) processor with 2GB of RAM. The handset comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage and supports expandable storage. The Android 5.1 Lollipop-based Liquid Z530 comes with 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB connectivity options. The Z530 gets a 2420 mAh Battery for Standby Time up to 630 Hours. It measures 144×70.3×8.9mm.
Now to the showstopper of today, the Acer Z630s. The Acer Liquid Z630s features a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS OGS display and comes with the company’s Zero Air Gap screen. Running Android 5.1 Lollipop with Liquid UI on top, the Z630s is powered by a 1.3GHz 64bit octa-core MediaTek (MT6753) processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. It will be available in 32GB storage variant with expandable storage support. Measuring 156.3×77.5×8.9mm, the Z630s packs a large 4000mAh battery. Similar to the Liquid Z530, the Liquid 630 also sports 8-megapixel rear and front cameras. It includes 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity features.
