Lenovo launched the Vibe P1 & Vibe P1m smartphones today at an event in New Delhi. Both the devices were announced at IFA Berlin 2015 along with the Phab, Phab Plus and soon to launch Vibe S1.

Vibe P1 packs in advanced security features along with a large 13.9cm (5.5”) Full HD IPS screen. The device sports a premium metal-and-glass design, a sleek aluminum frame (measuring just 4mm along the sides) and a curved rear metallic cover. The screen is protected by Corning Gorillia Glass 3. The Snapdragon Octa-Core Processor with advanced Thermal Management ensures proficiency in operations without a break. Lenovo VIBE P1 also comes with enhanced privacy control options along with an embedded fingerprint scanner embedded in the Home button making it easy to unlock the device.
VIBE P1 ensures readability with Assertive Display technology in sunlight. The P1 also offers an unparalleled entertainment experience with its audio quality. Smart PA technology with a dedicated audio chip boosts audio output making it loud enough for a group conference call. It also features a sealed sound chamber speaker for improved frequency response and better bass for all sorts of multimedia needs. It comes with a 13MP rear camera with fast-focus PDAF technology and a 5MP front camera with multiple shooting modes and beautification features.
To ensure that the power packed phone matches the expectations of the power users, Vibe P1 packs in a mammoth 5000 mAh battery that can run upto whopping 81 hrs of usage. The other feedback that Lenovo had received about large battery phones was about long charging time. We have developed a proprietary rocket charging technology specifically for the P1. The Rocket charger works on multi-staging boost technology charging up to 2.4x times faster than other commercially available fast charges. This ensures that a 10 minute charge gives up to 10hrs of usage time. The Vibe P1 can also fast charge other devices via the USB OTG functionality.

P1m comes with a P2i nano-coating which makes it splash-proof(non-submergible) and dust resistant. This offers greater protection against rain and accidental spills.
P1m is powered by a massive 4000 mAh battery that offers over 16 hours of talk time and 20 days of standby. You can also charge other IOT, Smart devices and your friend’s smartphones through P1m’s OTG Charging feature. The P1m ships with a 10W fast charger inside the box.
P1m has a 12.7 cm (5”) HD IPS screen along with a metal like frame and a classy matte-finish back giving it a premium look and feel. P1m houses a 64 bit Quad-Core processor along with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory (expandable to 32 GB). This combination ensures that the phone can handle all the challenges you throw at it without any issue.
P1m supports all Indian 4G bands and has dual SIM Slots. P1m comes with a clever physical Power Saver Button which enables a user to extend the battery life instantly.
P1m has a 8MP rear camera and 5MP Selfie camera with auto beautification feature. Apart from 16GB internal storage, you can extend the storage upto 32GB with an expandable SD card slot. P1m ships with the Android 5.1 lollipop out of the box.

Price and Availability
Supporting all Indian 4G bands, the Lenovo P1 and P1m will be priced at INR 15999 and INR 7999 will be available exclusively on Flipkart.
Registrations for P1m will open 21st Oct 6 PM and the first sale will be on 28th of Oct at 3PM.
Vibe P1 will go on sale from the 27th Oct midnight (0000hrs).
