Micromax has announced its entry into the kids edutainment segment with the launch of launch of Canvas Tabby, its first tablet with a special kids-use mode. Launched with an aim to using technology to make learning fun for today’s smart young generation, the tablet comes with a dual use mode for both Parent and Kids, making it the perfect family smart device.
The Canvas Tabby uses great technology loaded with well-designed pre-loaded content to ensure a holistic rich learning experience on the tablet, and is aimed at fostering the natural curiosity of kids to discover more about the world around them.
In the parent-use mode, the Canvas Tabby can be used as a fully-functional, high performance Android Tablet to watch movies, check email, web surfing and everything else one may love. The Tabby Kid’s use mode is powered by EddyPaddy, developed by kids-content company Educren, and is a kid-safe zone with over a 100 originally designed, pre-loaded applications and access to over 500 carefully curated videos under 3 areas – Education, Creativity and Entertainment.

Not only can parents set time limits for their children to use Tabby, they can decide which subjects their children should focus on by promoting specific content, and add and block content as per their own judgment.
