Lenovo India has introduced two devices, P70 and A5000. Lenovo has brought these devices to the Indian market keeping in mind consumer’s preference for choosing a smartphone with enhanced battery life.

One of the biggest issues that continues to worry smartphone users in India is the device’s poor battery life and the customers look for devices that power longer than others. The biggest challenge right now is that people are consuming more video content and are constantly engaged online which drains the battery life of the smartphone faster. Taking this into consideration, Lenovo has launched the P70 and A5000 packed with features like best-in class battery and are designed to be a multi-tasking gadget that is meant to be used on the go, anytime and anywhere.

Commenting on the launch, Sudhin Mathur, Director – Smartphones, Lenovo India said, “Lenovo has been a pioneer in long battery life smartphones starting with P780 in 2013. With P70 & A5000 we are looking at further extending our relationship with long lasting smartphones. Customers have repeatedly highlighted a desire for improved battery life at the top of shoppers most wished for smartphone feature. With both these smartphones now available in the Indian market the users can stop worrying about the battery life, enjoy uninterrupted gaming experience or watch high definition movies and stay connected while on the move”.

Lenovo P70 is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek (MT6752) processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and Mali T760-MP2 GPU. It comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card up to 32GB. It sports a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel fixed-focus front-facing camera.

It measures 142×71.8×8.9mm, weighs 149 grams. The Lenovo P70 packs an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. The Quick Charge feature of the smartphone allows it to get fully charged in 3 hours while a 15-minute charge offers up to 4 hours of talk time.

Lenovo A5000 smartphone is an addition to its widely acclaimed ‘A’ series of smartphones packed with features. Powered by best-in-class 4000 mAh battery, the A5000 is ideal for people who are always on-the-go.
