Ireo, India’s first and the largest FDI investor dedicated to Indian real estate sector, kicked off a year long mega theatre carnival “Gurgaon Centerstage” with the two day inaugural event at Epicentre, Gurgaon today. The highlight of the event was the opening act featuring Actor Anupam Kher’s iconic play “Kuch Bhi Ho Sakta Hai”. IREO contributed 50 per cent of the ticket proceeds from the event towards supporting the NGO activities.
Gurgaon Centrestage is an effort on part of Ireo to give back to the city of Gurgaon by contributing towards building a culturally rich lifestyle. The carnival is featuring a variety of theatre related activities, celebrity talks, workshops, exhibitions, and more ever month to entertain the entire family.
Other highlights of the festival were story telling workshop, puppetry workshop, mask making workshop, stress buster workshop, story-telling workshop, theatre games, improvisation and role play. The event also gave participants an opportunity to benefit from association with the Anupam Kher and his acting school – ‘An Actor Prepares’. The festival was directed by Imran Khan, a prominent theatre personality with a rich experience of 20 years.

IREO has associated with Kutumb Foundation, an NGO that works towards empowerment of underprivileged youth through theater, sports and other creative methods for the event.
