iMusti.com has announced a new agreement with Ingram Content Group, through Ingram International Inc. The alliance with Ingram, a comprehensive publishing industry services company, will add hundreds of thousands of physical books and e-books to iMusti’s distribution channels, making it the leading provider of regional and foreign titles in India.

The collaboration will enable iMusti to increase the size and scope of content in the Indian market. The new inventory will include a wide range of titles that will be ready for circulation and delivery anywhere in India.  Titles will include fiction best-sellers, autobiographies, anthologies of popular music and poetry as well as textbooks and educational material.

Commenting on the significant development, Samir Khandwala, Founder & CEO of iMusti.com said, “We are extremely pleased to add the biggest and world’s most popular books for our users. Our vision is to create the largest platform of digital entertainment and work closely with publishers, developers, and other network partners to digitize, distribute and monetize the utilization of rich and exclusive content.”

He further added, “Our collaboration with Ingram will give us an even stronger footing in the Indian market and the addition of Ingram’s vast content library to our existing collection will mean a greater scope of content available for our users.”

“Ingram Content Group is pleased to work with iMusti to enhance and broaden the availability and selection of titles available in the Indian marketplace,” said Shawn Everson, Chief Commercial Officer, Ingram Content Group.

iMusti entered the electronic book arena in 2012, becoming the first company to offer music, video and books from India on a single platform.  It has a significant digital library of more than one million titles from several top publishers in India.

With strong ties to Amazon.in, iMusti will use the platform to market, sell, and deliver titles to readers in India. The titles will also be available worldwide through iMusti.com.

The collaboration with Ingram adds to iMusti’s existing relationships with major publishers including Rajpal, Rupa Publications, Westland, Navbharat Sahitya Mandir, R.R. Sheth, Prabhat Prakashan and many others.

iMusti’s ever-expanding content can be accessed with the iMusti Video, Audio and Books Apps available for free at the Google Play App Store for Android users and the iTunes App Store for Apple users.
