Gionee Smartphones has announced an Over-The-Air update for the Gionee Marathon M3 and Pioneer P6. The Over-The-Air software update for both the devices will allow its users to download and install the new updates effortlessly.

The Pioneer P6 is set for a revamp in terms of its user interface, applications and layout. The new version of the update for P6 has fixed the green shade and hanging issue while using whatsapp. The user can manage notifications from applications with the new added feature- Information Management System and there is also a new lock screen widget for privacy issues. Few other features include-

  • Added new Fonts
  • Improved Touch response
  • Improved Camera quality
  • Updated new Music Player
  • Added new theme : Find sea
  • Added hide application function
  • Added Notification  Management System
  • Added one key lockscreen function

 The Marathon M3 comes with a powerful 5000 mAh battery which answers the ubiquitous issue of poor battery performance. Gionee has set a new benchmark for batteries by introducing the Marathon M3 which promises 33.7 hrs of endless talk time and 32.8 days of standby time. To enhance the performance of the Marathon M3 Gionee has announced the OTA update for the device which includes new features like-

  • No disappearing of Apps. See every icon of every application
  • Fixed Whatsapp Notification issue
  • Improved Camera quality
  • Improved Junk character in incoming Call UI issue.
  • Updated Clean Master, Du battery save, gamezone, amigo paper, Boyaa Texas Poker, True Caller and UC Browser
