Omega comes in 2 variants, Omega 5.0 and Omega 5.5 to let consumer choose the one that meets their requirement. With Octa Core processor at the heart of Omega and powered by XOLO’s proprietary HIVE platform, the two devices make higher technology more accessible.

It comes with a curved back so that it fits comfortably in the palm making it very easy to access and hold. Moreover, Omega comes with well-rounded smooth edges, which provide a very comfortable grip while playing games or watching movies for long hours. The embedded side keys and volume rockers are innovatively designed with curved edges that further enhance the aesthetics of Omega. Omega is powered by the next generation true Octa-Core processor from MediaTek which ascertains blazing-fast performance. It runs on 1.4 GHz Octa-Core MTK6592M Processor, powered by Quad-Core 600MHz Mali™ 450 GPU and 1 GB RAM.
The 8 cores that power Omega, runs independently and combines amazing performance with outstanding energy efficiency. Spreading the load over eight cores, even the most demanding apps can run smoothly without slowing down the device; while using just one core for lightweight tasks and powering down the rest stretching battery life to the max.
HIVE Inside
The beautifully crafted hardware of the Omega is completed with XOLO’s proprietary software platform – HIVE. HIVE offers range of new features and lets customers become the part of development team to provide the differentiated user experience to the android lovers.
Launched first on 8X-1000, HIVE is built on Android Kitkat v4.4. Since its launch, the software platform has evolved with user participation at its core. XOLO rolls out an OTA update every fortnight with various new features, performance enhancements and bug fixes, basis the recommendations shared by the users. What makes HIVE unique is that it allows users to share real-time feedback, new feature ideas, interact with the development team and other HIVE users through the CONNECT app .

Under this offer, Omega 5.0 users can enjoy 500 MB free data and Omega 5.5 users get access to 1 GB of free data, per month for 2 months. In addition, Omega users can enjoy unlimited music content available on Vodafone Music, for 2 months. The offers will be valid for 3 months from the date of roll out.
A complete performance device, Omega 5.0 sports 8 MP rear camera with Sony Exmor R sensor and 2MP front camera. Adding to the aesthetics of the device, the rear camera has metallic rim around it, which makes the camera stand out as another design element. Omega 5.0 comes with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal memory, expandable upto 32 GB. Packed with 2,100 mAh battery, Omega 5.0 is priced at Rs. 8,999 and will be available starting 10th December onwards, across top 10 cities and eventually will be available in the next 100 cities, by next month.
Omega 5.5 comes with 13 MP rear camera with Sony Exmor RS sensor for a delightful photography experience. Adding smiles to the selfies, Omega 5.5 offers 2 MP front camera. The device will be fuelled by 2,600 mAh battery and will be available at Rs. 9,999 from 20th December onwards, across all authorized retail counters and modern trade outlets.
