Flipkart has announced the addition of two new members to leadership positions within Flipkart. The positions announced are the Vice President of Fashion (Retail) and the Vice President of HR (Supply-Chain).
Rishi Vasudev joins Flipkart as the new Vice President- Fashion (Retail). Rishi brings with him over 15 years of experience in the fashion and retail industry with his last stint being the CEO of Calvin Klein India. Starting his career with the Aditya Birla Group, Rishi has worked with companies like Louis Philippe, Arvind Brands- where he led the end-to-end makeover for brands like Arrow, Gant and Izod. His rich portfolio of work experience includes building, enabling and sustaining various fashion brands in India. In his new role Rishi will spearhead P&L for all fashion categories at Flipkart.

Parameswaran Balakrishnan joins the organization as Vice President- HR for supply chain. His role will involve driving all business partnering, talent acquisition and functional L&D for supply chain at Flipkart.
Parameswaran has over 2 decades of experience working with large organizations like Toyota and Tata Motors. He started his career as a quality control engineer and then went to explore various functional domains like manufacturing, human resources and employee relations. He also has exposure to global manufacturing practices through his stint at Toyota, Japan. He has been one of the key leaders involved in implementing the Toyota production system and driving the organization cultural change interventions at Toyota India. In his previous assignment, he was heading employee relations and CSR of Tata Motors ltd, India operations.
