l Samsung featured its Food Showcase refrigerator, which combines clever internal storage design and innovative fridge technology to keep food fresher for longer. The new WA4000HH top-loader washing machine is specifically designed to meet the needs of Southwest Asian customers, and delivers groundbreaking performance with functional design latest technologies. And the new air conditioner AR7000 is engineered to deliver exceptional cooling, comfort and hygienic benefits with a striking triangular design.

To meet the needs of Southwest Asian consumers, Samsung has customized its TVs with exciting new features tailored specifically for the local market. The H4100 and H5100 offer Joy Plus, which delivers a variety of features that provide something for everyone in the family, making the entertainment area a family-friendly space. Consumers are now able to bring Samsung’s leading 4K UHD technology into the home with Samsung’s 28-inch UD590 UHD monitor, which provides four times the resolution of Full HD (FHD) displays. With a response time of 1ms, the UD590 displays movies, games and Internet-streamed content perfectly and smoothly without any blurring or ghosting for a completely immersive viewing experience. The UD590 features advanced multitasking technology, with Samsung Picture in Picture (PIP) 2.0 that supports native sources resolution up to FHD and Picture by Picture (PBP) that connects two different PCs to one monitor screen with native resolutions. It has a game mode option that easily makes a dark and blurry picture bright and clear, and provides a display port and two HDMI inputs to connect PCs and various AV devices. Samsung introduced the Samsung Food Showcase Refrigerator, which combines outstanding looks with clever internal storage design and innovative fridge technology that keeps food fresh longer and creates more space inside. The refrigerator is equipped with an exterior door ShowCase compartment for easy access to drink and snacks, as well as an interior InnerCase compartment for longer lasting ingredients. To ensure freshness, the ShowCase is equipped with a Metal Cooling door and the InnerCase with an All-Around Cooling system. Also, the Water and Ice Dispenser makes it easy to enjoy refreshing, chilled and filtered water, and to fill a pitcher with cubed or crushed ice.
Specially customized to meet the needs of Southwest Asian consumers, Samsung unveiled the WA4000HH top-loader washing machine. The new washer combines exceptional performance and convenience by addressing local consumers’ needs with advanced technologies. Its Activ Wash+TMfeature showcases a transparent sink equipped with a dedicated water jet for hand- and pre-washing purposes. Samsung’s innovative WobbleTMtechnology helps protect delicate fabrics while enhancing washing ability. Easy On-the-Go Printing with Samsung’s Xpress Series
In 2013, Samsung underscored its leadership in advanced mobile printing technologies by releasing the Xpress C410 and C460, the world’s first color laser printer series with NFC capabilities. Today at its Southwest Asia Forum, Samsung further proved its leadership in the mobile printing market by unveiling its new mono laser printer and multi-function printers, the Xpress M2885 Series, as well as its series of color laser printer and multi-function printers, the Xpress C1860 Series. The mono laser printers feature high-speeds of 28 pages per minute, while the color laser printers can print 18 pages per minute.
Thanks to the NFC and Wi-Fi Direct technologies, users can simply tap their smartphones on the printers to easily and securely print pictures, documents, e-mails and web content. Mobile printing is also supported via Samsung’s mobile printing application, which can be downloaded from the Google Play and Apple App stores for free. Additionally, Samsung GALAXY users can easily print by touching the “print button” on their GALAXY devices. Finally, users can print on the Xpress—whatever they want, from wherever they are—through Google Cloud Print.
Samsung also provided a demonstration of its Business Core Printing Solutions targeted at small- and medium-sized businesses to increase workplace efficiency through easy to use, server-less printing. Business Core Printing Solutions enable these companies to meet their specific document handling, output management and print accounting needs, while delivering robust security, maximizing productivity and minimizing expenditures. Samsung Business Core Printing Solutions can be utilized through Samsung printers that have the XOA Embedded open platform installed.
