Apple is taking no chances with the iPhone 5S. Gone are the days when they could release similar looking phones with different internals and get away with it. The iPhone 4S is the best example of how the iPhone 4’s design was carried around for 2 generations. But with the competition taking its toll on Apple’s innovation capabilities, this time around the successor to iPhone 5 i.e. the 5S will not be hard to differentiate from its predecessor. Don’t get carried away already, the 5s wont be sporting a completely new design but only changes that are easily noticeable.

But a fingerprint scanner in an iPhone could be too much to ask for at the moment and the new home button could just have a notification light with HALO effect.
