Vivo has announced a new mid-range smartphone in its Y series. The latest addition to the Y series, Vivo Y95 comes with a massive battery, a dewdrop notch display, dual rear cameras, and a 20MP rear camera. Also, the Vivo Y95 is the first smartphone come with the Snapdragon 439 processor.
The smartphone comes with a 6.22-inch (1520×720) HD+ Halo FullView display with a dewdrop notch up top that helps to achieve a screen-to-body ratio of 88.6% and a slim bezel. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 Octa-core processor clocking at 2.0GHz, Adreno 505 GPU, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage with microSD card support up to 256GB. It packs in a massive 4030mAH battery and is running on Vivo’s Funtouch OS 4.5 skin on top of Android 8.1 Oreo. In the camera department, the Vivo Y95 sports a 13MP(f/2.2)+2MP(f/2.4) AI Rear camera with phase detection autofocus (PDAF), bokeh shots, Face Beauty, Time-Lapse, Panorama, Live Photos, Portrait Mode, Google Lens, AI Scene recognition and HDR. At the front, it features a 20MP AI enabled selfie camera with inbuilt features like AI Face Beauty, Portrait Mode, Live Photos, AR Stickers & HDR. The AI algorithm detects the user’s age, gender, skin tone and skin texture to highlight the natural environment and automatically deliver facial enhancements, without even having to lift a finger. Other features of the device include rear finger scanner, dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS.
